There are a number of different camps run through out the year.

R & F Basketball Camp

Rick Baxter - Director

Rick is a 1974 Pennsbury graduate and a part of eight championship teams as a player and coach. Rick has served as the junior varsity coach for the last 12 years after being an integral part of forming Pennsbury's outstanding community basketball program. 

Frank Sciolla - Head Coach

After an All Catholic, City, and State Career at St. Joseph's Prep, Frank played basketball at Cabrini College.  In his 15 years as head basketball coach at Pennsbury, Frank has seven SOL titles (five of them were undefeated) and is the all time winningest coach at Pennsbury.  More importantly, Pennsbury has become the premier recruiting stop in the Mercer/Bucks area as he has helped develop over 40 players for the ranks of college basketball.

Frank and Rick started the summer program in 1998 and created a camp with a national reputation for, teaching, fun and organization. At our instructional basketball camp, athletes are taught the fundamentals of basketball through drills, practice, games, and fun.  The camp's organizational structure and focus on fun, learning, and self-improvement is manifest in the outstanding staff and special individual instruction that each camper receives.  The varsity team and coaching staff serves as coaches and lecturers and past years counselors included former players Torrian Jones (Notre Dame) Lavoy Allen (Temple), Jason Vegotskwy (Bucknell) and Dalton Pepper (West Virginia).  Guest lecturers from every level of college basketball always highlight the camp week.  Basketball is never the sole focus as daily talks on the importance of family, reading and academics are highlighted by essay contests and special prizes.  Each Camper receives a tee shirt and a basketball during the week in addition to a personalized report card from his or her coach that details his or her strengths and weaknesses.
